Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, who is set to share the octagon with British prospect Paddy Pimblett this weekend, has no doubt that this time he will be able to close out a six-fight losing streak and get his career back on track.
“I’m back where I need to be and I’m better than ever,” the American said at a media press conference. “I’m faster, stronger, and more mentally tough than anyone who will step into the cage on this day. I’m not here to have fun. It’s happened before, and by doing so I gave my opponents a chance by letting them get where they are now, but I’m not going to mess around this time.”

He’s worried about me blocking him on social media, sensitive little b***h, but when he gets dissected and sees his own blood, he’s going to run out of the octagon back to his mommy”
As a reminder, the lightweight bout between Tony Ferguson and Paddy Pimblett will take place on December 16 at UFC 296 in Las Vegas.
