Tom Aspinall reacted about the fight with Alex Pereira

Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall decided to add intrigue to Alex Pereira’s recent announcement by indirectly confirming information about a fight with the current UFC light heavyweight titleholder.

The Brit posted the corresponding video with a Christmas song on the social network.

A day earlier, the Brazilian puzzled his fans with a mysterious puzzle, leaving the following entry:

“30+300=3,” Pereira wrote on social media, clearly alluding to his participation in the UFC 300 tournament, and optionally a title shot in the third weight class.

Alex Pereira and Tom Aspinall last stepped into the octagon on Nov. 11 at UFC 295 in New York City. Pereira finished Jiri Prochazka by second-round technical knockout in the main event of the event to win the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship belt, while Aspinall became the interim UFC heavyweight champion by knocking out Russian Sergey Pavlovich in the 69th second.

Recall that the UFC 300 tournament will take place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
