“I’ve been saying this for an eternity,” said the Briton in an interview with Michael Bisping. “He will fight one more fight, fight Stipe and then retire. Everyone tells me, ‘He signed a contract for six or eight fights, put on weight on purpose’, and I say, ‘No chance at all'”
“A guy doesn’t need to fight someone like Pavlovich or someone like me. He doesn’t want to fight young challengers anymore. And that’s honest of him – I don’t blame him for that. He shouldn’t do this. He doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone. The guy has already done it. I knew from the very beginning that he would rise up, have one or two fights, and leave. I’m sure that’s exactly what he’ll do.”
