Tim Tszyu: “I looked people in the eye and saw everything…”

Australian WBO mandatory contender Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) wonders why his opponent in the fight on January 28 in Las Vegas (USA) is the undisputed light middleweight champion (up to 69.9 kg) Jermell Charlo (35- 1-1, 19 KOs), refused to fly to the press conference and limited himself to video broadcasting.

According to Tim, this behavior of the opponent definitely does not contribute to increasing interest in their confrontation.

Underdog says that if you look at a global superstar like Tyson Fury, “you can see that he does absolutely everything that is required to promote the fight – and therefore earn more than millions [чем заработал бы без раскрутки]”.

“Mayweather here is also made of dough. And does what is required. And Charlo? Well, maybe he’s paid so well that he doesn’t care, Tim laughed. “Or he just doesn’t want to get out of his routine comfort zone. Who knows”.

Tszyu explained why it is easier for him than Charlo

Overall, Tszyu said
fox australiatête-à-tête presser or on video thousands of kilometers apart – he does not care.

“Look, if he doesn’t want to be at the press conference, then I don’t care. I’m here to fight, the rest doesn’t bother me,” Tszyu said.

“For me, looking into the eyes of the enemy is empty. Someone can look tough and really look into your soul, and then it turns out to be a facade. Sometimes he looked into people’s eyes and saw everything, but most often nothing was visible there. Mystery. It’s just part of the business, part of the show,” he shrugged.

The other day, Tszyu admitted that he was a little jittery before the fight. The American favorite claims that he will knock out Tim brightly because “his ridiculous fart is sick of him.”
