Australian contender for the title of absolute champion of the first middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs), who on January 28 in Las Vegas (USA) will have to fight with the owner of all four prestigious division belts, American Jermell Charlo ( 35-1-1, 19 KOs), he is sure that he is in a better position than his opponent.
Tim shared his thoughts with
fox sports.
“I have nothing to lose, I don’t feel any pressure,” Tszyu assured. All the pressure is on him. And he puts it on himself, promising to knock me out in a few rounds. I know for sure that nothing like this will happen. You will see how it will be.”
According to Tim, he does not expect to normalize relations with an opponent after the fight, no matter what the final result is:
“I will not call him for a glass of coffee (after the fight). He and I are completely different personalities. We’re not friends, and it’s unlikely we’ll ever become friends. However, I respect him as a fighter.”
Here, by the way, how Charlo promises to brightly knock out Tszyu: “His ridiculous fart got sick of him.”
