During the promotion of the event
Hearn got a little carried away: “You know what is the coolest thing about doing events in Australia? The local government is interested in this – it also helps financially. That is, you are given money to organize the event, and in Britain you have to rely solely on the proceeds from the sale of merchandise, advertising and tickets. That’s why you saw here the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn, and recently also George Kambosos against Devin Haney.

“Now imagine a title fight between Justice Honey and Anthony Joshua in Australia! – the businessman lies a little. – Definitely, the Australian authorities would pay well to make this fight in their country. There are only three superstars in boxing right now and they are Joshua, Canelo Alvarez and Kathy Taylor. And I know that they would all love to fight in Australia. All that is needed is to convince them financially and find a worthy opponent for the Australian. Canelo performs at 76.2 kg, and local star Tim Tszyu at 69.9 kg. And when Tim moves up in weight, this fight will become a mega event in an instant. The same goes for a potential fight between Joshua and Honey.”

Just yesterday, Honey won a solid victory – he passed Goodall, known for victories over Vykhrist and Babanin.
