Thurman will throw a hellish battle to Spence – Arum

The unified welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg) American Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) was forced to postpone his return to the ring due to another accident with his direct participation.

Before that, it was assumed that he would enter the ring against ex-champion and compatriot Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs), and, apparently, this option has not lost its relevance until now, although not earlier than the spring of 2023.

Legendary promoter Bob Arum, meanwhile, doesn’t bode well for Spence’s carefree comeback.

“This is a good fight,” Arum confided to us. – Many people think that Spence will not have problems with Thurman, but I do not agree. I think Thurman has a good chance of winning. He is a very big master, and I think that he has a high chance of surpassing Spence. All in all, it’s a very competitive fight. Spence will probably still win, but Thurman will throw him a hell of a fight.

Meanwhile, Spence has been ordered to fight Ennis, but he has a loophole. And not alone.
