“There’s been a disaster.” Borshchev admitted that he felt bad on the day of his debut in the UFC

Russian UFC fighter Vyacheslav Borshchev (6-1) said in an interview with SE that he became ill the night before his debut in the UFC – perhaps these were the consequences of a weight race.

On the night of January 16, 30-year-old Borshchev defeated Dakota Bush (8-4) by knockout in the first round at UFC Vegas 46 (UFC on ESPN 32).

“Before the fight, I had a catastrophe,” said Borshchev. – I’ve been tinkering all night! Horror! Apparently, he miscalculated with the weight cutter – either he overate, or something else. Didn’t sleep at all at night. It’s been a terrible night. I was very upset – after all, before the fight everything was going so perfectly, I had never felt so good … And then on the day before the fight, crap yourself – to put it bluntly.

To be honest, I’m still overwhelmed. Such a sudden hype attacked me – our guys (other Russian fighters. – Approx. “SE”) did not come, they transferred me to the main card, plus they only talked about me from each iron. I thought: “Yes, what is it ?!” I wanted to hide in a box. I tried not to touch my phone at all. As I do not open it, new information will come out and come out. And it kind of pissed me off. I even called my grandmother and complained! I say, “Terrible.”
