There was a sensation in Yekaterinburg: results

RCC Boxing Academy, Yekaterinburg, Russia. In the main event of the show, the local middle peasant of the second featherweight (up to 59 kg) “Ural Canelo” Mark Urvanov (21-3-1, 10 KOs) beat fellow gatekeeper Dmitry Khasiev (12-4-2, 6 KOs), closing an unpleasant defeat in the eliminator.

Already in the opening round, Urvanov pinned his opponent against the ropes and dropped him with a hook in the liver. Lefty Khasiev tried to counter, at times the fighters pleased with nice exchanges. In the 3rd three-minute period, the boxers briefly changed roles: Dmitry was active, Mark countered.

Urvanov acted in a more varied way: he confused in the movements and angles of attacks, sometimes he pulled out on himself and countered. Both were noticeably tired by the 5th round, and began to clinch. In the 7th three-minute period, Khasiev was on the floor twice in a row. The referee regarded the second fall as a knockdown.

Underdog finished the fight with a huge blanche near his right eye. Attempts to turn the tide of the battle did not lead to anything, since there was almost no strength left, and the favorite did not disdain to clinch in time.

The winner is clear.

Urvanov UD 8.

In the limit of the second lightest weight (up to 55.3 kg), the Russians agreed
Evgeny Lyashkov (10-3, 2 KOs) and native of Tajikistan Asror Vohidov (10-1, 6 KOs).

The guest looked more convincing, failing the sweeping Russian, catching on counterattacks, knocked down. Lyashkov tried to go for broke in the final round, but did not calculate the fuel – he missed the side towards him, ended up on the floor, and failed to convince the referee that he was ready to continue the fight. But before the gong was less than 30 seconds.

Vohidov TKO 10.

Also, as part of the second featherweight (up to 59 kg), Russian Ruslan Kamilov (12-1-1, 6 KOs) sensationally flew on points to his compatriot
Murad Aliyev (4-0-1, 1 KO).

The fight turned out to be extremely unwatchable. Both minimized the risks by putting the fans to sleep. Kamilov tried to work as number two, but clearly underestimated his opponent. In the 5th round, Aliyev unexpectedly dropped the favorite with an uppercut. He got to his feet, tried to make adjustments to the tactics, but before the final gong he looked unexpectedly indistinct, losing to the decision of the judges.

Aliyev UD 8.

An interesting native of Azerbaijan, Elnur Samedov (14-1, 5 KOs), who already has a lot of cool scalps (Hayk Shahnazaryan, Zoravor Petrosyan, Stanislav Kalitsky), beat
Javokhirbek Karimov (6-1-1, 3 KOs) from Uzbekistan.

The fight was not competitive. Samedov attacked his opponent from the starting gong with blows to the body, and Karimov quickly capitulated, having been on the canvas twice before.

Samedov TKO 1.
