The weight category in which the fight between Provodnikov and Bagautinov will take place has become known

On December 19 in Moscow, the legendary boxer Ruslan Provodnikov returns to the ring in the style of Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

The ex-world welterweight champion according to WBO, nicknamed “Siberian Rocky”, will meet with the representative of the MMA school, ex-UFC fighter Ali Bagautinov. The five-round fight will be held according to the rules of boxing, in the weight category up to 65 kg.

The confrontation between the Russian boxing representative and MMA will take place in Moscow on December 19 at the VTB Arena at the Fight to Save charity tournament.

On account of Provodnikov 30 fights in professional boxing, in which he won 25 wins (18 by knockout) and suffered 5 losses. Provodnikov last fought in June 2016.

35-year-old Bagautinov in mixed martial arts won 21 victories and suffered 7 defeats. On his account there are 2 fights in professional boxing, in which he won 2 victories.
