According to a press release posted on social media by the world’s strongest league, the numbered event will take place April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Although the organization has not announced any fights, in a recent interview, the head of the UFC, Dana White, promised that the anniversary show will not disappoint fans and will surprise them already with the first match of the preliminary card.
The league head also stated that veteran Jim Miller, who is the only current fighter to have participated in UFC 100 and UFC 200, will take part in the event.
Recall that in 2009, the UFC 100 tournament was headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir, and the main event of UFC 200 in 2016 was forced to be a women’s title fight between Amanda Nunes and Miesha Tate, who had to headline the show after the McGregor vs. Diaz 2 and Jones vs. Cormier 2 bouts fell through.
According to rumors, the main event of UFC 300 could be a welterweight fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.
