I had a great camp and I’m definitely upset, but God has another plan,” the former UFC bantamweight title challenger wrote on social media.
Following his controversial title defeat to Jon Jones, 34-year-old Dominick Reyes suffered three more consecutive losses, losing by knockouts to Jan Blachowicz, Jiri Prochazka and Ryan Spann.
Carlos Ulberg, 33, on the other hand, is riding a five-fight win streak in the UFC, finishing Da Un Jang with a rear-naked choke in his last fight.
As a reminder, UFC 297 will take place on January 20, and its main event will be a middleweight title fight between Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis.
