The sparring session ended brutally. The public demands to close this hall

Promoter Lou DiBella (DiBella Entertainment) reacted to a viral sparring video in Mustafas Boxing Gymduring which one fighter beats the second, even though he is in a groggy state, strikes at the back of the head, and no one from those present even tries to stop him.

“I don’t know where this hall is located, but it needs to be closed immediately,” the promoter said. – This is some kind of debilizm, this is a shame. It is very dangerous. It’s just disgusting. Even if this is really an old video, then I beg you – do not post this on social networks. This is not sparring. It is a crime. Those blows to the head… They’re just awful. Why are you trying to ruin the reputation of boxing? It’s the worst thing we can do.”

Dibella’s words received solid approval from boxers and functionaries.

Steve Cunningham: All those who got on this video are not people, but some kind of bio-garbage. And the trainers who allowed to finish off the fighter when he was in a state of groggy. And a sparring partner who didn’t stop in time and hit the back of the head because he doesn’t know how to strike correctly. And all those fighters who keep hitting the back of the head in sparring and in fights. They are all bio-garbage. Even the dude who records the video.

Alicia Baumgardner: Terrible and unacceptable!

Billy Deeb: Lou, I totally agree with you. Nothing to add.

Christopher Lovejoy: By the way, they closed. But only in order to then rent a larger hall …

John Scully:
1000000% These coaches… Or what to call these people?.. In a word, they absolutely must be banned from even approaching the ring.

In December, the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney decided to confirm his words that he allegedly terribly beat Hector Luis Garcia during sparring last year. Gervonta Davis answered him: Learn, new fish!
