The music played for a short time. Fight Valdez-Navarrete already disrupted

For a short time, fans were looking forward to the relatively quick Mexican war between Oscar Valdez (30-1, 23 KOs) and Emanuel Navarrete (36-1, 30 KOs) for the vacant WBO super featherweight (59 kg) world title, which was scheduled for February 3 in Glendale (USA).

As became known
boxing sceneValdes was injured and forced to postpone his return to the ring because of this.

According to the same source, most likely, Australian Liam Wilson (11-1, 7 KOs) will now enter the ring with Navarrete, and the winner will face Oscar. At the same time, it is not yet clear whether a full-fledged WBO title or, perhaps, some kind of “truncated” version of it will be at stake in the Navarrete-Wilson fight.

Recall that Navarrete is the current WBO champion at 57.2 kg, and before that he owned the same title at 55.3 kg. He suffered the only defeat in his professional career in 2012, and ended all 10 title fights in his favor.
