The legendary De La Hoya made a bold prediction for the fight Jake Paul – Anderson Silva

Boxing legend, head of the Golden Boy promotion company Oscar De La Hoya shared his opinion about the upcoming boxing match between popular influencer Jake Paul (5-0, 4 KOs) and outstanding MMA fighter Anderson Silva (3-1, 2 KOs in profibox).

De La Hoya is sure that Anderson’s vast experience in martial arts will not help.

“Good fight. And I’m betting on Jake Paul,” Oscar said. – Yes, my bet is on him, because he seems to be getting into the rhythm. He hasn’t had many fights, he loves boxing, he’s a real hard worker and has a lot of power. If he hits Silva, he will knock him out. If he hits Silva, he will fall.

De La Hoya urged not to be fooled by Anderson’s solid wins over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (on points) and Tito Ortiz (KO 1) last year.

“Everything is based on what Silva did with Chavez and Ortiz. Are you seriously? Oscar asked just in case. – Come on, it’s real. Chavez was not even 20% himself. Yeah? In terms of functional readiness, physically, it just wasn’t him. Silva will be knocked out (against Paul).”

Interestingly, Silva’s former colleague Daniel Cormier is of a diametrically opposite opinion.
