The firing of coach Henry Sejudo turned out to be true

Former UFC double champion, Henry Cejudo, did indeed fire his trainer, Erik Albarracin, before the start of training camp for his fight against Merab Dvalishvili.

The Brazilian told about it in the regular edition of the program “The MMA Hour”.

“It was real,” stated Albarracin. “The video was shot in early December. If you follow me on social media, you would have seen that for the past two months I have been in Brazil with Paulo Costa and Patricio Freire and building the Broadstreet House team where I will raise the next generation of fighters”

“In fact, I haven’t seen Henry since the Aljamain Sterling fight. He traveled to Brazil to see the ‘Pitbull’ brothers, trained with them for a while, and then I saw him the day they filmed ‘Countdown.’ That was nine weeks ago. Still, I love these kinds of Shakespearean twists and turns – romance, breakup, reunion. I’ve been with Henry for almost twenty years, and I’m ready to support him, to do what he wants to do”

The day before, Henry Cejudo, who was hit by a barrage of criticism over his coach’s public firing, released a joint video with Albarracin in which he claimed that the Countdown shoot was a prank, however, the American was not too convincing, which fans noted.

As a reminder, the fight between Henry Cejudo and Merab Dvalishvili will take place on February 17 at UFC 298 in Anaheim.
