Starting odds have also been released for the main events of UFC 298 and UFC 299, which will take place in February and March of next year, respectively.
In contrast to Strickland, reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (1. 714; 58.33%) and current UFC lightweight titleholder Sean O’Malley (1.465; 68.25%), will enter the octagon as favorites, while their opponents, Elijah Topuria (2.15, 46.51%) and Marlon Vera (2.75, 36.36%), are underdogs, the latter more so.
As a reminder, the title fights have been officially announced by UFC CEO, Dana White, however, UFC 298: Volkanovski vs. Topuria, and UFC 299: O’Malley vs. Vera, have no date or location yet.
