The Ennis are glad in their own way that they couldn’t beat Choukhadjian.


As part of the last week’s boxing evening in Washington (USA), American Jaron Ennis (30-0, 27 KOs) went the full 12-round distance for the first time in his career and failed to extend a series of 19 early victories in a row, “only “By points on points against Ukrainian Karen Chukhadzhyan (21-2, 11 KOs) in a duel for the vacant title of the “interim” IBF welterweight world champion (up to 66.7 kg).

In addition to the new experience, Jaron found another positive moment in what had happened.

“Perhaps now all these boys will stop avoiding me and agree to fight,” he said.
