Tai Tuivasa made a statement after losing to Sergei Pavlovich

Australian puncher Tai Tuivasa, who suffered a crushing defeat in the confrontation with Sergei Pavlovich, summed up the fight, addressing his team, opponent and fans.

“Damn, I got beat up today,” Bam Bam wrote on the social media. “A big thank you to my team for everything they do for me. Congratulations to Sergei Pavlovich – he caught me first and I could not recover. It’s time to go home and spend time with family. Last but not least, what a crowd this evening in Orlando! I didn’t have time to put on a show and take a sip from my sneaker, it’s my fault, but I’ll be back!”

The heavyweight fight between Tai Tuivasa and Sergey Pavlovich, held at UFC on ESPN 42 in Orlando, ended at the 54th second of the first round with a knockout victory for the Russian. In less than a minute, Pavlovich managed to drop his opponent three times and turn his face into a bloody mask.

Having dealt with the Australian heavyweight, 30-year-old Sergey Pavlovich recorded his fifth early victory in the UFC, all of which were won by knockouts in the first round.
