Sylvester Stallone held a battle of glances between Fury and Usik

Legendary actor Sylvester Stallone, who embodied on screen the image of the most famous boxer in the world film industry, held the first official battle of glances between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik, held at a press conference in London.

The participants of the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight boxing champion came face to face to the music from the cult movie “Rocky”, but the security staff had to quickly separate the rivals, as the confrontation turned out to be too intense.

The day before, the organizers of the match officially announced that two of the world’s top heavyweights would share the ring on February 17 in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. The bout was originally scheduled for December 23, but Tyson Fury’s unexpectedly tough fight against Francis Ngannou, which was accompanied by a fall of “The Gypsy King” and ended with his victory by a controversial split decision, forced the British team to insist on postponing the match.

Tyson Fury made his last defense of his WBC title last December, knocking out Dereck Chisora in the tenth round, while Alexander Usik successfully defended his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles in August, knocking out Daniel Dubois in the ninth round.

Note that in the fight with the former UFC champion, the Briton did not risk his championship belt, although the ten-round fight had professional status.
