After losing the presidential election in his homeland, boxing legend 44-year-old Filipino Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) gradually came to the conclusion that he wants to resume playing in the ring.
Recall that Pacquiao announced his retirement after losing to Cuban Yordenis Ugas in August last year. A little over a week ago, he announced that he wants to fight the current leaders of the welterweight division, Americans Errol Spence and Terence Crawford.
“I am eager to fight them. Check them… I’m still here, I haven’t gone anywhere. I’ve been doing it almost every day for over a year. I have fought many greats at 66.7 kg, 63.5 kg and so on, and I would like to test them, ”Manny said.
However, one of the coveted candidates has already dropped out. Here is what Spence replied to Pacquiao’s wish:
“I won’t fight him. Larry Holmes is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, but he doesn’t get the respect he deserves because he didn’t just beat (aged) Muhammad Ali, he beat the fuck up. I think that’s the reason.”
Meanwhile, “Pac-Man” started small and beat the martial artist.
