Smith TKO 6.
Local promising representative of super lightweight (up to 63.5 kg)
Sandy Ryan (4-1, 2 KOs) got even for the March defeat in a rematch with the ex-world champion
Erica Anabella Farias (27-6, 10 KOs) from Argentina.
The fight went the whole distance, it turned out to be competitive again. At some point, it seemed that the commentators were too ignoring the successful moments in the performance of Farias, trying to convince the audience that Ryan looked much more confident.
She really worked on her mistakes: much better in movement, better jab, skillful distribution of forces over the entire distance.
Judges’ verdict: two adequate cards 96-94 and absolutely meaningless 98-92.
Ryan UD 10.
