On the night of April 30 to May 1, a boxing evening took place in Las Vegas (USA), the main event of which was a unification fight for the WBC and WBO world titles in the second featherweight (up to 59 kg) between American Shakur Stevenson (18- 0, 9 KOs) and Mexican Oscar Valdes (30-1, 23 KOs).
A confident victory on points by unanimous decision was won by Stevenson. In the 6th round, Valdes was knocked down.
