“If he goes out there and beats Wolf and I go out there and beat Chito, that fight will be next,” the American said on another edition of his podcast. “Whether you guys agree with that or not, I can see it quite clearly, and that’s what the UFC thinks – I’m already a potentially big star.”
“If Elijah thinks it’s an easy fight, why wouldn’t he fight a guy who has a big name, who can talk, and is easy to beat?”
As a reminder, a fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Elijah Topuria will headline UFC 298 on Feb. 17 in Anaheim, while Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera headline UFC 299 in Miami on March 9.
