Ryan Garcia reveals how he’ll become the face of modern boxing

Prominent American lightweight Ryan Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) is confident that he can become the face of modern boxing, and believes that it will be enough to defeat his compatriot, holder of a secondary WBA World title, Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs).

“I’m eager to show the world that I’m the best fighter in the lightweight division,” says Garcia, “and I feel like Davis is my biggest competitor for the lead. With his speed, power, accuracy and IQ, I think this is it. But I’m just much better, and when it comes to our fight, it will not be difficult for me to show it. I want to show it to all of you and to Gervonte himself.”

“He absolutely believes he can beat me and I want to see him do it,” Ryan continued. Enough talk, I’m ready to deal with this in the ring. And if he doesn’t, then we’ll see that he just doesn’t want it. I want to destroy him and establish myself as the face of boxing. Yes, I think whoever wins our fight will be the face of boxing.”

Recall that Garcia will have another fight this weekend and not at all against Davis – Dominican Javier Fortuna will become his opponent.

A few days ago, Ryan spoke about the undisputed division champion Devin Haney: He has no killer instinct, he will feel it with me.
