“I’ll beat him in MMA, I guarantee it,” Garcia said on another edition of The MMA Hour program. “You don’t understand – I’m a born fighter. I’m strong and I have crazy physical conditioning.”
“I know I would knock him out in boxing, it just wouldn’t be fair. It would be fair to test myself in MMA because I train every day and I have Nate Diaz and Alex Pereira helping me. If I focus on that, he’ll never beat me. I’m going to come in with everything I have and destroy Sean O’Malley in the UFC.”
“I’ve already sent a text message to Dana White and I have people who will talk to him personally. I’m ready to come to the UFC – give me a bag of money and I’m here. I’m ready to do that after the fight with Devin Haynie. Dana, give me an answer – I’m burning to kick Sean O’Malley’s ass.”
Sean O’Malley will make the first defense of his title on March 9 at UFC 299 in Miami, and his opponent will be Marlon Vera, ranked fifth in the lightweight division.
