Russia’s Daria Zheleznyakova is scheduled to make her UFC debut

Russian Daria Zheleznyakova, who signed with the world’s strongest league two months ago, will make her UFC debut on Oct. 14 at a tournament in Las Vegas, and her opponent will be Brazilian Tainara Lisboa.

Informed sources close to the situation said of the organization of the lightweight bout.

Daria Zheleznyakova, 27, has fought her last three bouts under the banner of French organization Ares Fighting Championship, where she won a unanimous decision over Liana Jojoa, lost by TKO to Melissa Mullins, and finished Marie Loiseau by TKO. The Russian has previously competed in the GIT Sech, MMA Series and Open FC leagues, and will enter the octagon with eight professional wins and one loss.

Tainara Lisboa, 32, made a successful debut for the organization in May, finishing Jessica Rose-Clark by rear-naked choke in the third round.
