The bout was announced by UFC CEO, Dana White.
Former UFC featherweight champion Rose Namayunas made a disappointing debut in the lightweight division last September, losing a three-round unanimous decision to Manon Fioro.
Amanda Ribas has been steadily alternating wins and losses for the past four years, and in her previous fight she once again put her career back on track by finishing Luana Pineiro by technical knockout in the third round.
Amanda Ribas is currently ranked ninth in the UFC’s flyweight rankings, while Rose Namajunas is not yet a top-15 fighter in the division.
