Ramirez and Bösel determine mandatory challenger for Bivol: video

Toyota Arena, Ontario, California, USA. In the final WBA eliminator, ex-world champion Mexican Gilberto Ramirez (44-0, 30 KOs) expectedly easily dealt with the representative of Germany Dominik Bösel (32-3, 12 KOs) and became the mandatory contender for WBA Super champion Russian Dmitry Bivol.

The fight turned out to be one-sided almost from the starting gong. Hefty Ramirez spudded Boesel with all his shock arsenal, and he, according to German tradition, sat behind a high block, but he was in no hurry to intercept attacks, but simply survived.

It was felt that the fight would not last the whole distance. After the 3rd round, the referee carefully examined the underdog. He does not like that he almost does not answer. In the 4th three-minute period, the Mexican still knocked down the opponent with a blow to the body. The referee immediately stopped the fight.

THAT WILL DO IT

Ramirez TKO 4. Mismatch. Thanks WBA.

Remember that Ramirez promised to get even with Bivol for losing Canelo Alvarez? Any chance?
