UFC lightweight number 11 Rafael Fiziev, in an interview with Sport-Express, told how he managed to knock out Brad Riddell with a roundhouse kick.

The big disadvantage is why – often when they go to the side, they lower their hand and do not see the roundhouse kick. And when you step aside, you should always be ready for a turn, or for a sharp lunge, a jump forward, breaking the distance.
And in the fight, both in the first round and in the second – he did it carelessly several times. He dropped his hands. It seems to keep a distance, but I can break this distance. And he steps and, I look, relaxed too much. I practiced that punch before the fight because I knew it could hook him.”
On February 19, Fiziev will fight against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.
