Former world boxing champion Ruslan Provodnikov defeated former UFC fighter Ali Bagautinov on points in a boxing fight.
The fight between Russian athletes took place in Moscow as part of tournament Open Fighting Championship 15. It lasted all five rounds and ended with a split decision.
On account of Provodnikov 30 fights in professional boxing, in which he won 25 victories (18 by knockout) and suffered five defeats. He retired in 2016 and fought for the first time in five years.
35-year-old Bagautinov in MMA won 21 wins and suffered 7 losses. In three fights according to the rules of boxing, he won two victories and suffered one defeat (from Provodnikov).
