Prospectus from Ukraine: “In America, everything works a little differently”

Middleweight Fedor Cherkashin (21-0, 13 KOs) is a native of Ukraine who competes under the flag of Poland. Recently, the prospect has been living and training in Florida (USA), which helped him reach a qualitatively new level – in November he brightly beat the strong Gallimore.

By
words Cherkashin, he “does not have a date for the next fight or an opponent, but I am actively training, I spend two sparring sessions a week. I realized that in America it all works a little differently. They can offer you something really interesting literally 3-4 weeks before the date of the fight. And then it’s up to you to decide whether to accept the challenge or refuse. That is, there may even be a moment when you receive an offer during training. And he must give an immediate answer – “yes” or “no.”

The middleweight is “constantly in touch with the promoters. They want to put me in some really big fight. Now we are all patient, calmly planning the next step. I know that I always have to keep myself in shape, because I don’t know when the offer will come, when the opportunity will appear. I understand that the opportunity should not be missed. Therefore, you need to be as ready as possible to use it.”

Previously, it was even rumored that Cherkashin was claiming a title fight. He was remembered at the WBC Congress. The prospect itself is confident that it is “ready for the big stage.”
