Prospect heavyweight McKean knocked out Korte: video

South Bank Piazza, Brisbane, Australia. Local heavyweight prospect (over 90.7kg) southpaw Demsey McKean (22-0, 14 KOs) won the vacant IBF Inter-Continental belt against the older German
Patrick Korte (18-2-1, 15 KOs).

The underdog aggressively started the fight: he shook the hefty favorite solidly, hit him near the eye. McKean immediately clinched the opponent. In the 1st three-minute period, Korte did not respond to the referee’s demand to suspend the fight and continued to knead the favorite – at least 4 hits passed. Strange, but for this he escaped with a slight fright – the referee did not penalize the guest.

Korte started the second round aggressively again, but it soon turned out that his gas tank was already empty – this is how the underdog reacted to the opponent’s jabs, body blows and constant heaps in the clinch. In the 3rd round, the German turned into a static target. The favorite connected the uppercuts, shook one of them, and then pushed him away – Korte fell, could not get up.

IT’S ALL OVER
