Allianz Cloud, Milan, Italy. In the main event of the show, local super middleweight (up to 76.2 kg) Daniele Scardina (20-1, 16 KOs) sensationally knocked out an age compatriot and ex-world champion Giovanni De Carolis (31-10-1, 15 KOs). The WBO intercontinental title was at stake.

The 37-year-old veteran took down Scardina in the 4th round. The referee played for time in every possible way in an attempt to give the prospect a chance to recover and continue the fight. Approximately the same disgrace happened in the undercard – here link.

Skardina got to his feet. Despite the fact that he did not look well, the third in the ring allowed the fight to continue. In the 5th round, De Carolis finished what he started. Blimey! Bright and brutal!
