Povetkin gave his prediction for the fight between Ngannou and Joshua

Former WBA heavyweight boxing champion Alexander Povetkin shared his opinion on the upcoming match between Britain’s Anthony Joshua and Cameroon’s Francis Ngannou on March 9 in Riyadh.

“I think Joshua should deal with Ngannou, I’m sure of it,” “The Russian Knight” said in an interview with sports columnist Vasily Konov. “I think Joshua will deal better than he dealt with Fury in the previous fight. I saw what Fury was like. I think he wasn’t ready, one hundred percent.”

The winner of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will reportedly face the overall heavyweight boxing champion of the world, which will be decided on February 17 in a fight between Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usik and Britain’s Tyson Fury.

Recall that last October, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou made his professional boxing debut, losing by split decision to Tyson Fury at the end of ten rounds, with the “Gypsy King” getting knocked out in the third round.
