The upcoming UFC 259 tournament promises to be a grand event, as three title fights will take place on the night of Saturday to Sunday, March 7, in Las Vegas (USA).

The UFC 259 main event, which sees light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz take on middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, is getting the majority of the fan’s attention. But besides this, the card has a whole bunch of interesting fights.

The first defense of the bantamweight title of Petr Yan, who will face Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259, looks very intriguing.

Undefeated in the UFC, Ian took over his belt in July at UFC 251, fighting the legendary Brazilian for the vacant regalia and finishing him with a technical knockout in the 5th round. Sterling is a basic black belt wrestler in BJJ. He does not have striking power as such, and in the stance he can hardly compete with Jan.
