Pereira responded to Adesanya’s provocation against his son

Former UFC middleweight champion, Alex Pereira, reacted to the act of Israel Adesanya, who, after the fight, took revenge on his twelve-year-old son for an insult seven years ago.

“I don’t know – I wouldn’t do that,” Pereira said in a video posted on his YouTube channel. “That was seven years ago, my son was five years old and now he is twelve. He wanted to do the same the day I took the UFC championship belt away from Izzy because people around him were pushing him, but I strictly forbade him from doing so. If Izzy did it and felt better, good. If he’s relieved, OK. It doesn’t change anything for me.”

Last weekend at UFC 287 in Miami, Israel Adesanya knocked out Alex Pereira in the second round, after which, especially for the son of the Brazilian, crying in the hall, he depicted his father lying unconscious.

Thus, the Nigerian took revenge on a child who, seven years ago, depicted him lying in a knockout after a kickboxing match.
