Paddy Pimblett responds to Rafael Dos Anjos’ challenge

Former UFC lightweight champion, Rafael Dos Anjos, commented on another win for British prospect Paddy Pimblett, who won a unanimous decision over Tony Ferguson this past weekend at UFC 296 in Las Vegas.

“Pimblett is terrible. I will beat this guy without a training camp,” the Brazilian wrote on social media.

Pimblett responded by saying that Dos Anjos would be better off focusing on his next opponent, Mateusz Gamrota, who he is already scheduled to fight.

“I don’t understand why the hell he’s mentioning me? Stupid b***h,” MMAJunkie quoted the Brit as saying. “He’s already got a fight – let him focus on that. Of course, now everyone is going to mention me. I wouldn’t disrespect RDA. He’s a former champion, a future legend of the sport. But if he wants me to take him out, I’ll do it.”

As a reminder, the lightweight fight between Rafael Dos Anjos and Mateusz Gamrot will be part of UFC 299, which will take place on March 9 in Miami.
