This was announced in an interview with Talksport by Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk.
“The fight is cancelled,” Krasyuk said. “The reason is that everything has gone too far. We got the feeling that after Usyk agreed to 30% of the profits, Fury decided that he could put a saddle around his neck and ride. This is unacceptable. Usyk agreed to share the profit 70 to 30, but it was a courtesy on his part.
“Tyson is trying to avoid the fight by putting forward more and more new conditions, and we decided that it was not worth our effort. We go our own way. The demands that Fury made were a demonstration of absolute disrespect on his part.”
According to available information, Oleksandr Usyk interrupted the training camp, and is currently trying to plan his next fight with the team.
Recall that the Briton is the reigning WBC heavyweight boxing world champion, and the Ukrainian holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles in this weight category.
