The British “interim” WBO world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) met at the annual convention of this organization with its full-fledged champion (as well as WBA and IBF champion) Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).
It happened, apparently, in San Juan (Puerto Rico).
Yesterday, Alexander chuckled in response to a question and said – “I don’t want to fight Joyce, he’s like a tank!”
Usyk said earlier (and not only him, but both his opponent and his promoter) that in his next fight he will fight WBC champion Tyson Fury.
Then, if Alexander passes the Briton, he will have another intriguing fight – against Deontay Wilder.
As you can see, there is simply no time for Joyce. That is why Joe predicts the loss of the WBO title by the Ukrainian.
