Nurmagomedov reacted to Sterling and O’Malley fight, challenged his opponent

No. 11 UFC lightweight Umar Nurmagomedov, who withdrew from his bout with Corey Sandhagen due to a shoulder injury, commented on the victory of American Sean O’Malley, who at UFC 292 in Boston finished his compatriot Aljamain Sterling by technical knockout to become the division’s new champion.

“Wow, I love it! New story in the division,” the Russian wrote on social media.

In addition, Nurmagomedov made it clear that he wants to see his next opponent to be the division’s number six, Marlon Vera, who defeated Pedro Munoz by unanimous decision in the numbered event that took place.

“Five months of rehab from surgery and I want to face Marlon Vera. I can finish him in two rounds!”, – promised the Russian fighter.

It is possible that Marlon Vera will be the next opponent of Sean O’Malley, who announced that he is ready to go to the title defense in December against the Ecuadorian fighter, who three years ago inflicted on him the only defeat in his professional career.

Umar Nurmagomedov, 27, is riding a four-fight win streak in the UFC, having knocked out Raoni Barcelos as early as the first round in his last fight.
