Nurmagomedov has agreed to Sandhagen’s terms

No. 10 UFC lightweight Umar Nurmagomedov is happy with Cory Sandhagen as an opponent and the date of the fight proposed by the American.

The Russian said this on social network, responding to a potential opponent, who reproached him for trying to move the fight from June to August.

“Just send me the location. Let’s go!”,” Nurmagomedov wrote, addressing Sandhagen.

Earlier, Nurmagomedov challenged Peter Yan, saying he was ready to fight his compatriot or Sandhagen in August, which did not please the American fighter.

“You call up a higher ranked opponent and pick a date? Come on, Umar. International fight week, you’re up against me bro!” the UFC’s No. 3 ranked lightweight division wrote.

The fight between Sandhagen and Nurmagomedov was supposed to headline the UFC on ESPN 50 event in Nashville last August, however, the Russian was injured and withdrew from the bout, while the American fighter defeated his compatriot Rob Font, whom he won by unanimous decision.

Usman Nurmagomedov successfully resumed his career ten days ago after more than a year off, defeating organization debutant Bekzat Almakhan by unanimous decision.

The event that concludes this year’s International Fight Week will be UFC 303, which takes place June 29 in Las Vegas.
