Nurmagomedov commented on the failures of Salikhov and Khizriev

UFC lightweight division number thirteen Umar Nurmagomedov addressed his compatriots Muslim Salikhov and Aliaskhab Khizriev’s failures to pick up victories at UFC Fight Night 235 in Las Vegas.

“The quality of a man is not determined by wins and losses,” the Russian wrote on social media, posting a joint photo with Salikhov and Khizriev. “Keep your heads up, brothers! Each of you has the character of a man and the disposition of a Muslim, and fights and everything else are just a part of sports life”

We would like to remind you that Muslim Salikhov lost by knockout to Jamaican-born Randy Brown in the first round, and Aliaskhab Khizriev got his finger in the eye of Uzbekistan’s Mahmud Muradov in the 11th second of the match, as a result of which the fight was recognized as canceled.

Undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov will return to the octagon on March 2 at UFC Fight Night 238 in Las Vegas, but the name of his opponent remains unknown.
