Not Usyk. Wilder’s manager named priority #1

Manager Shelley Finkel makes no secret of the fact that his top client, ex-world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) from the United States, has a lot of cool options. Apparently, the fight for three championship belts with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) is far from being in the first place.

At the weekend in the WBC eliminator, Wilder knocked out Robert Helenius (31-4, 20 KOs) from Finland in the opening round.

The winner doubts that Usyk will keep his word: “But I will do what I promised.” But Wilder’s manager for some reason
He speaks about a very different fight: “A few months ago, Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua’s promoter, sent us a letter with an offer to do a fight. We replied that Deontay is now doing what he should be doing in the run-up to the fight – preparing to finish the fight the way he did.

“Now that the Helenius fight is behind us, let’s see if Eddie comes back with his promised big bucks and Wilder vs Joshua offer. We are ready. He knows where to look for us. Let’s see. Let’s find out if he changed his mind after what he saw in the performance of Wilder, ”Finkel smiles.

Hearn has previously claimed that Helenius has a good chance against Wilder. After the victory, the American visited the loser, and he announced his retirement from boxing: a touching video.
