Not Fury, not even Lewis. Mayweather named the coolest boxer from Britain

The legendary American boxer-showman Floyd Mayweather recently held an exhibition match in Britain with a local ex-MMA fighter
Aaron Chalmers. The event took place in half-empty stands O2 Arena (London). Sales of paid broadcasts did not live up to expectations either.

The US boxer was asked who he considers the greatest British boxer of all time. It turned out that he
sees not heavyweights Lennox Lewis or Tyson Fury: “This is Prince Naseem Hamed. I think that he is undeservedly deprived of attention and does not receive the respect he deserves. We still keep in touch with him on a regular basis. This is just a hell of a tough fighter and an incredible showman. It’s a shame that many here in Britain have already forgotten about him. It’s even hard for me to believe it. After all, this is one of the best fighters from Britain. If not the best.”

Interestingly, Hamed was recently mentioned by a British pundit: The toughest showman in the history of British boxing? No, it’s not Fury.

After the fight with Chalmers, it turned out that Mayweather had a suspected fracture. The American made a statement about a possible rematch with Pacquiao and suddenly compared himself to God.
