It seems that former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is in the most serious way to fight against profiboxing world champion Tyson Fury.
Recall that Ngannou failed to agree on the continuation of cooperation with the UFC and is currently in the status of a “free agent”. It is known that Francis has several substantive offers from other organizations, including fisticuffs, on his hands. However, the fight with Fury is clearly the most priority of all options for him.
Moreover, the further, the less likely it will be a classic boxing confrontation.
Fury had previously said he was accepting Ngannou’s challenge, but offered his own terms:
– 4-ounce gloves (such as in the UFC);
– fight in a cage (and not in a ring);
– Mike Tyson as a referee;
– Rules (Marquis) of Queensberry.
On the eve of Francis made it clear that he accepts all the conditions, for clarity, putting a tick in front of each of them. And just in case, he asked: “Something else?”

In any case, the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), tentatively scheduled for the end of April in Saudi Arabia or the UK, remains at the top of Fury’s agenda.
