One of the most popular fighters to compete at UFC 262
UFC star fighter Nate Diaz will return for the first time in a year and a half. The 35-year-old athlete will face Leon Edwards at UFC 262. Their fight will take place at the tournament, which will take place on May 15 in Houston.
The main event of the tournament will be a lightweight title fight between Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira. Also at the tournament will be a fight between Tony Ferguson and Beneil Dariush.
Note that the fight between Diaz and Edwards will be five-round. This will be the first time in UFC history that fighters will fight five rounds in a non-championship or main event.
Diaz last fought in November 2019, when he lost for the exclusive BMF title to Jorge Masvidal.
Edwards last fought on March 13 against Belal Muhammad. The Briton dominated the opponent, but in the second round he made an unintentional poke in the eye, because of which the fight was stopped and declared invalid.
