Muin Gafurov has been eliminated from the UFC event in Paris

Tajik lightweight fighter, Muin Gafurov, will not be out this weekend for his fight against Frenchman Taylor Lapilus, whom he was scheduled to face on Sept. 2 at UFC Fight Night 226 in Paris.

Informed sources say that “Tajic” has had visa issues and the organization’s matchmakers are currently trying to find a replacement for him.

Muin Gafurov, 27, made a disappointing debut under the UFC banner in June, losing by unanimous decision to American John Castaneda, while for 31-year-old Taylor Lapilus, the upcoming fight was supposed to be his debut in the organization.

Recall that the main event of the next French event of the world’s strongest league will be a heavyweight fight between Frenchman Cyril Gan and Sergey Spivak, representing Moldova.
