Mini-upset in super lightweight: the prospect lost to a knockout

Whitesands Event Center, plantCity, state Florida, USA. In the main fight of the evening, a mini-upset took place: an unbeaten American super lightweight prospect (up to 63.5 kg) Cesar Francis (12-1, 7 KOs) lost on points to the Mexican puncher Jesus Saracho (13-1, 11 KOs).

The fight between two solid punchers did not live up to the expectations of the fans – both respected each other’s striking power too much, acted cautiously and constrainedly. The American spent the second half of the fight worse due to fatigue, which cost him the victory: twice 96-94 and senseless 98-92 in favor of the underdog.
