Mike Tyson was offered a fistfight with the WWE champion

WWE superstar 46-year-old American Bobby Lashley claims that he was offered a bare-knuckle fight with the legendary 56-year-old compatriot Mike Tyson.

“Dominator” Lashley is an ex-MMA fighter. From 2014 to 2016, he spent 5 fights in Bellator, won early victories in all, but then decided to move to WWE – he is the champion and one of the most famous superstars of this wrestling promotion.

According to the fighter, the fight with Tyson was supposed to take place in New York (USA) at the iconic arena Madison Square Garden. Steven Muhlhausen of
DAZN
confirms the words of Lashley: “Yes, it was the case. The company that offered him a fight with Tyson is Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). Lashley negotiated with them. In parallel, they discussed the fight with Tyson, but did not agree on the fee. After that, Mike returned to training with Rafael Cordeiro.”

Lashley spoke respectfully about Tyson: “I am a fighter. But you won’t hear from me about me going out and kicking Tyson’s ass. That would be stupid and disrespectful. I will say so. If I had such an opportunity, I would use it 100%. And it would be a great honor for me to fight him.”

Lashley still fantasizes a little: “Just imagine. What if I could catch Mike on a blow and drop him! I would immediately turn into the most recognizable character in the world. I would be invited to the cinema. They would call everywhere. I would have turned into the greatest sports star in an instant.”

Apparently, we are talking about May-June 2020. Tyson announced a comeback and a series of fights, after which options rained down. From BKFC there was an offer for 20 million: Mike Tyson was called to fight with bare fists. Later, he even found an opponent.
